Problem Note 39849: Plots of residuals in PROC GENMOD are incorrect for multinomial model

When a multinomial model is fit in PROC GENMOD via the DIST=MULT option in the MODEL statement and the PLOTS= option is specified to request plots of residuals (such as Pearson or deviance residuals), the residual plots produced are incorrect. Because residuals are not produced by the OUTPUT statement for multinomial models, residual plots should also not be produced by the PLOTS= option for this model.
